Orange County, home to most of the Walt Disney World Resort, is under a tornado watch this morning along with a number of other Florida counties as a strong storm system is slated to move through the area.

The tornado watch is in effect until 11:00am, per the National Weather Service. The storms are expected to move through between 9:00am and 11:00am. Guests inside of Walt Disney World parks should seek shelter during this time as heavy rains and wind are expected. Delays and closures of transportation systems like Disney Skyliner and monorail should be expected. Outdoor attractions may also close due to lightning or high winds.

A wind advisory is also in place for Orange County until 7:00pm as sustained winds increase to 20-25 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour.
