The BEST Restaurants for Fireworks Views In Disney World

One of the most magical ways to end your Disney World day is to watch the fireworks over the Cinderella Castle or above the EPCOT World Showcase Lagoon.

Happily Ever After Fireworks

You can make that experience even better by adding some delicious Disney food into the mix! Digging into a tasty meal while Enchantment fireworks are going off in the background? Sounds like heaven to us. Today, we’re taking a look at the BEST restaurants for fireworks views in Disney World.

You can see fireworks in three of the Disney World parks: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT. We’re just going to focus on Magic Kingdom and EPCOT for this post, because those two have a lot more options for restaurants nearby with fireworks views.

Fireworks in Magic Kingdom!

But we also love the Hollywood Studios fireworks! The best place to see those is in front of the Chinese Theater since a lot of the show is scenes projected onto the front of the theater.

Wonderful World of Animation

Most of the restaurants that we’ll look at will have the music from the fireworks show playing over the speakers, so even if you’re not close enough to hear it, you can still have the “full” experience. Keep in mind that you’re not guaranteed a good view of the show at these restaurants — really the only way to have a guaranteed view with dinner is to buy a Fireworks Dining or Dessert Package (which we’ll describe more coming up). If you just have normal reservations, you can always ask for a table by the window, but it’s not guaranteed that there will be an open spot.

Dessert Party Fireworks

Let’s get into it now, starting with fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Right now, the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom is Disney Enchantment, and it has amazing new fireworks, projections, and music.

Disney World is always evolving!

So where should you make your reservations to watch fireworks over the Cinderella Castle?

‘Ohana

One of the best options is ‘Ohana, a family-style restaurant located across Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This restaurant serves delicious Polynesian-style food like coconut-papaya scones, shrimp, and dumplings.

‘Ohana

We’re BIG fans of the food here, so that’s a major point in favor of this spot. But the restaurant has huge windows that look over the Seven Seas Lagoon towards Magic Kingdom. So while you’re enjoying some of the yummiest dishes (make sure you save room, because those ‘Ohana noodles are NOT overhyped!)  in Disney World, you can also watch fireworks in the distance!

‘Ohana dining room

‘Ohana is across the lagoon from Magic Kingdom, so you won’t be super close to the fireworks. But they play the music from the show, and you’ll still have a pretty good view. As long as you’re near the huge windows, you’ll be able to see the show pretty well!

‘Ohana Windows

It’s a family-style all-you-can-eat meal, and the prices are set at $55 per adult and $33 per child.

Tiki Terrace

Not hungry enough for a full meal? Then we’d recommend Tiki Terrace, also located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Tiki Terrace

Tiki Terrace is the part of Trader Sam’s that’s located outside (with the Grog Grotto being the inside part). Out here, you can enjoy a wide selection of fun, themed cocktails or some appetizers like sushi, Kalua pork tacos, or dumplings. Or you can grab a meal or snack from the nearby Cap’t Cook’s counter service with choices like pulled pork nachos, Thai coconut meatballs, and pulled pork sandwiches.

Tiki Terrace

The benefit of this spot is that you can be outside while you watch the show, which means you’re more likely to hear the actual fireworks (not just the music) and there’s a better chance for a good view. You can also order some fun themed cocktails out here!!

Pulled Pork Nachos are BACK at Captain Cooks in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

California Grill

Located just a Monorail ride away, the California Grill is on the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This restaurant also has huge windows overlooking the Magic Kingdom. There is even an observation deck with sweeping landscape views of the Magic Kingdom and a bird’s eye view of those glittering fireworks.

California Grill

Plus, since the Cali Grill is on the 15th floor, you’ll actually be above the Magic Kingdom, which is a cool perspective to see the fireworks from. And there won’t be any buildings obscuring your view since the restaurant is so far up.

Views from California Grill

However, you’ll also be situated at an angle, since the Contemporary Resort is right next to the Magic Kingdom, not facing it directly.

Fireworks from California Grill

In terms of food, you’ll get to try out the limited-time 50th Anniversary Celebration Menu. For $89 per adult ($39 per child), you can eat like royalty on a prix fixe menu with options like Artisanal-style Duck à l’Orange Pizza, Oak Fired Filet of Beef, or Cast Iron-Grilled Pork Tenderloin.

House-made Artisanal-style Duck À L’Orange Pizza

You’ll come for the view, but with cuisine like this, you won’t regret saving your appetite for an ultimate indulgence.

Narcoossee’s

If sky-high dining isn’t your cup of tea, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has some waterfront dining options for you. First up is  Narcoossee’s, a signature seafood restaurant with entrées like Blackened Salmon, Filet Mignon, and Surf & Turf. There are also several options for kids’ meals here, like seasonal Fish, Mac & Cheese, and Hamburgers.

Pan-seared Georges Bank Day Boat Scallops

The dining room at Narcoossee’s is laid out like a wraparound porch, with tables surrounded by huge windows. You’ll be able to watch the fireworks over the Cinderella Castle from this dining room, especially if you’re sitting at a table right beside the windows (some are further in). We actually kinda like the tables further in from the windows, because there’s less glare from the reflection of the dining room lights on the windows.

Narcoossee’s Reopening View

For adult meals, the prices range from $30 to $54 per entrée, and kids’ meals are between $12 and $17. There are also several dessert options on the menu, like Almond-Crusted Cheesecake, a Banana Cream Tart, or Artisanal Cheeses, so you can basically make your own Fireworks dessert party.

REVIEW: Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Is Fine.

Gasparilla Island Grill

If you’re looking for a more casual vibe, the Gasparilla Island Grill is also at Disney’s Grand Floridian, but it doesn’t have the dress code or signature pricing that some of the fancier restaurants on this list have.

Gasparilla Island Grill

This spot is a quick-service restaurant that also accepts Mobile Order. So if you can’t get reservations somewhere for the fireworks, this is a great plan B. You can find some treats at the bakery or order a hamburger, pizza, or sandwich for dinner. The outdoor seating would be the best option for fireworks views, and they play the music for the show here as well!

Gasparilla Island Grill

You can create your own dessert party here too, by choosing some baked desserts, seasonal treats, and fun drinks! Another great benefit? The prices for entrées here are around $10 to $13 each, with several options for smaller snacks and treats.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Inside the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella’s Royal Table has a unique view of behind the castle.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

So while you won’t be able to see the fireworks quite as well (or well, any of the castle projections, because you know you’re INSIDE the castle), you may be able to spot them being set off from behind the building. Because Disney doesn’t just set off fireworks in front of the castle, this firework show is a 360-degree experience.

What a View

Dinner here is serving food such as Pan-Seared Sea Scallops and Roasted Chicken Breast for adults and Beef Tenderloin and Chicken Nuggets for kids. The meal is $62 for adults and $37 for kids, and it includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for adults and an appetizer, entrée, 2 sides, and dessert for kids.

Cinderella’s Royal Table is a tough reservation to get

Plus you may get to rub elbows with royalty, Cinderella is spotted in this dining location where you can capture a memorable photo with this belle of the ball!

Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace recently brought back the buffet in Magic Kingdom! This spot is located right on the Hub in the park, so you’ll be in the middle of the action. This also means that there will be a lot of people around just outside the restaurant, so fireworks views might be obstructed by those lingering observers.

Crystal Palace

However, it’s set up like a greenhouse with big windows all around the dining room, so there’s still a chance for some good views. Just enjoy your meal and look up through those skylights for a unique firework view that few guests will get the opportunity to see.

Dining Room

In the buffet, you’ll find American-style food like Short Rib, Country Fried Chicken, and Assorted Desserts. The cost is $39 for adults and $23 for kids.

Buffets Are BACK at Disney World’s Crystal Palace!

Plaza Restaurant

The Plaza Restaurant is also located towards the end of Main Street, U.S.A. It serves American-style food as well like Roast Beef Au Jus, a Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Meatloaf. Most entrées are between $19 and $22 for adults. Kids’ meals include sandwiches, Chicken Strips, and a Cheeseburger, for between $9 and $11.

Plaza Restaurant

Like the Crystal Palace, there will probably be lots of people just outside the restaurant watching the fireworks. If you can get a table by a window, this is a good option. But this restaurant doesn’t have a ton of window seating, and the windows aren’t huge like they are at Crystal Palace. So this isn’t at the top of our list for viewing spots, but with the right table it can definitely still be a winner.

Dessert Parties Inside Magic Kingdom

Most of those restaurants have some pretty great views for fireworks, but one of the only ways to guarantee a great view with some tasty snacks is with the Fireworks Dessert Parties inside the Magic Kingdom. Disney World hosts three new parties.

Our dessert party plate

The Disney Enchantment Pre-Party is located on the Tomorrowland Terrace and features treats inspired by Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Dessert options include chocolate-dipped strawberries and butterscotch pudding, plus a variety of cheeses. There will also be some drinks available, including wine and beer for the adults. After the dessert party, guests will watch the fireworks from a viewing area that has standing room only. This party will cost $99 for adults and $59 per child.

Cheers!

The Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats is another Fireworks Dessert Party, also located at the Tomorrowland Terrace. It’s very similar to the Pre-Party, except this one includes dedicated seating inside the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant. The cost for the Treats and Seats is $114 per adult and $69 per child. If these parties are sounding super familiar to you, you’re not wrong — they’re very similar to the old Fireworks Desserts Parties that were running at the Magic Kingdom pre-pandemic.

What’s better than Ghirardelli chocolate and the Castle?

The Disney Enchantment After Party is basically the Pre-Party in reverse. You’ll watch the fireworks show from a viewing spot at the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant (standing room only), and then go to the dessert party after the fireworks are over. The same desserts and drinks that we mentioned for the Pre-Party will be available here. It’ll cost $99 for adults and $59 for children.

Fireworks View

All of the Fireworks Dessert Parties will provide several options for getting those memorable views with some tasty snacks. They’re pretty popular parties, so if this is an event you and your family are interested in, book it soon to make sure you secure your spot.

EPCOT Fireworks

The new EPCOT Fireworks show “Harmonious” debuted on October 1st for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.

Harmonious in EPCOT

The fireworks will go off from barges in the World Showcase Lagoon, so there are a LOT of possible viewing points around EPCOT. Here are our top picks for restaurant fireworks views.

La Hacienda de San Angel

La Hacienda de San Angel is located in the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase. It’s an indoor restaurant located right on the water, so you’ll have great, unobstructed views of the lagoon and the fireworks.

La Hacienda de San Angel

The restaurant has huge windows, and they pipe in the music from the show. If you’re hoping to watch “Harmonious” from the comfort of an air-conditioned dining room.

La Hacienda Dining Area

As you might expect, La Hacienda serves Mexican-style food, like Carne Asada, Baja Tacos de Pescado, and Pollo Poblano. The adult entrées are mostly between $28 and $32, with a couple of more expensive options that serve two people.

GIANT Tostada!

So, book your table, order a margarita and some empanadas and enjoy that view!

The BEST Disney World Restaurants for Last Minute Reservations!

La Cantina de San Angel

Located near La Hacienda de San Angel is La Cantina de San Angela quick-service spot with a large outdoor seating area. It’s also right on the water, so if you can get a table near the Lagoon you’ll have an awesome view of the fireworks.

La Cantina de San Angel

At La Cantina, you’ll find more Mexican-inspired dishes like Nachos, Tacos, and Empanadas. And you don’t need reservations for this restaurant since it’s a counter service spot.

Outdoor Seating

Most of the entrées here are between $10 and $15. There are also a couple of options for kids (or adults who aren’t feeling Mexican food at the moment) like Chicken Tenders and Macaroni & Cheese.

Tokyo Dining

Tokyo Dining is another spot in World Showcase with great views! Big, open dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a menu filled with Japanese delicacies, sounds pretty idyllic!

Tables and chairs for seating

The dining room at Tokyo Dining has huge windows, but there’s a balcony on the other side where people are usually standing, also watching the fireworks. So your views are probably not going to be quite as stellar as if you were right on the water.

View from Tokyo Dining

But if you’re willing to trade slightly-less-great-views for some tasty sushi and other Japanese food, this is a great option for you. We recently went to the reopened Tokyo Dining — check out our first look here!

Rose & Crown

There are a couple of options for fireworks views at the Rose & Crown, which is located in the UK Pavilion in World Showcase. If you want to guarantee the fireworks viewing experience, you can buy the Fireworks Dining Package for this spot. This package reserves your spot on the outdoor Rose & Crown patio and includes a prix fixe dinner of classic British foods. You’ll get an appetizer, entrée, dessert platter, and unlimited beverages.

Harmonious

The package costs $89 for adults and $39 for kids.

Pudding Trio from Harmonious Dining Package at Rose & Crown

If you’d rather not pay for the package, you can make reservations for dining inside the restaurant at the same time as the fireworks show. The views aren’t guaranteed here, since not all the tables are seated by windows, but there’s a pretty good chance that you’ll still get fireworks views, and it’ll likely be cheaper than buying the package.

Without the package, most entrées are between $20 and $25, with kids’ meals between $9 and $12. You can expect British food like Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Review: We Ate a LOT at Rose and Crown in Disney World. If You Need Us We’ll Be Napping for a Week.

Spice Road Table

The Spice Road Table at the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase also has great fireworks views from both the indoor dining room and the outdoor patio. Like Rose & Crown, the patio will be taken up by a Fireworks Dining Package, so you can either purchase that or make reservations to eat inside.

The Fireworks package comes with two small plates, a dessert platter, and unlimited drinks for $72 per adult and $31 per child. Wait. Don’t keep reading like you didn’t see that. Go back and read that, again. Yep, you read that right — unlimited drinks! For $72, you can have some amazing snacks and unlimited drinks while you “ooh” and “ahh” over those dazzling fireworks.

Spice Road Table

Inside, the dining room has good views from most tables, although the ceiling is a little bit low so you won’t be able to see the higher fireworks. If you can get right by the windows, that’s the best option!

It’s a beautiful restaurant with a great menu!

If you’re dining inside, you can choose from a variety of small plates, like Hummus Fries, Fried Calamari, and Spiced Chicken. Most of the plates are between $10 and $15, and they’re kind of like tapas in that you’re meant to buy a few and share them around the table.

Spiced Chicken

There are also a lot of options for drinks, like beer, wine, Sangria, and signature drinks. And remember, unlimited. Be sure to enjoy those options responsibly and hydrate properly to avoid any undesired side effects.

REVIEW: Do Unlimited Pints of Beer Make EPCOT’s Fireworks Package Worth It

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Back at the UK pavilion, the Yorkshire County Fish Shop is serving up Fish and Chips at its quick-service location. You won’t need reservations here, and there’s a large outdoor seating area right on the Lagoon.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

This area is often used for special private events, so it’s possible that it’ll be unavailable when you go. But if it’s open, this is one of the best places to watch the fireworks!

Tables to the right of the shop

Their entrées menu is literally just Fish and Chips (although if you’ve tasted them, you know they don’t need anything else) for $11.49.

Fish and Chips

There are also some drinks, including a couple of options for beer. Be advised, some guests get situated here early in the evening (or late afternoon), so seats will be in high demand and you’ll want to plan appropriately if you don’t want to be left standing.

Monsieur Paul

If you’re celebrating a big occasion and want to go all-out for this fireworks dinner, Monsieur Paul is the place to be. It’s in the France Pavilion, located above Chefs de France. Monsieur Paul isn’t open right now, and Disney hasn’t said yet when it might be available again.

Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion – currently closed

When it does open, this restaurant serves French food like Roasted Duck Magret and Bacon-Wrapped Golden Tilefish. You can also get one of their prix fixe meals that include multiple pre-selected courses. If you’re feelin’ real fancy, there’s a Prix Fixe Menu Dégustation with SEVEN courses (including dessert) for $119 per adult.

Seating

Monsieur Paul is up on the second floor. Some of the windows are a bit small, or you might find yourself at a window by one of the majestic trees which could obstruct the view, but the overall experience is one of luxury. The prices are a little higher than some of our other recommendations, but for the right occasion, this is a gorgeous spot to eat.

Everything That Will Be CLOSED in Disney World in 2022

How to Get the Best Spot

We’ve gone over some of the best places to be for the fireworks, and now we have a few tips for making sure your experience is awesome.

Disney’s Enchantment

First of all, arrive early! Don’t plan on walking up to Yorkshire County Fish Shop 5 minutes before the fireworks start and getting a table right by the water. Lots of people want to see the fireworks, and there will probably be crowds forming at some of these viewing spots pretty early.

A look at the crowds for fireworks

If you’re going to a sit-down restaurant, you’ll probably need a reservation. Make your reservation for about 45 minutes before the fireworks begin so that you’re all seated and ready with your food to watch the show. This way, if the restaurant is running a little bit behind schedule, you don’t run the risk of missing the fireworks.

View of Magic Kingdom from California Grill

You can’t request a window seat before you arrive at your reservation, but you can ask when you check-in for your reservation. Check with the hosts to see if a table with a view or one by the window is available. And please keep in mind that this is a request and Cast Members will do everything they can to accommodate requests but cannot make guarantees. Have patience, arrive early, and be gracious. Remember, Disney World Cast Members usually want you to have a great experience as badly as you do.
