REVIEW: RunDisney Blue Hawaiian Dole Whip Float Races Back into Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for Marathon Weekend

This is a pretty exciting weekend here as the Walt Disney World Marathon kicks off for the first time since January 2020. In celebration, the Blue Hawaiian Float has returned to Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

This is an alcoholic treat.

Blue pineapple juice is mixed with Dole Whip soft serve to create a wave of ocean colors. It’s even topped off with blue raspberry Pop Rocks Candy. You can hear it crackling before you even receive it.

The whole thing is garnished with an edible hibiscus flower.

The tropical concoction is topped off with a shot of coconut rum. Be very careful, though. We spilled quite a bit as we tried to maneuver the crowds, so maybe take a few sips before you make your way back to the pool.

The bright blue color was interesting, though. The flavors are strong, and the blue raspberry from the pop rocks even came through. This was perfectly refreshing, even on a breezy January afternoon. And, of course, that coconut rum hit the spot after a long day at the Magic Kingdom!

This Blue Hawaiian Float will be available through the marathon weekend. Will you be running over to Disney’s Polynesian Resort for this Dole Whip float?
