PHOTOS: Construction Swims Along for ‘Moana’-Inspired Journey of Water Attraction at EPCOT

Construction activity is flowing along at the future site of Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT. We took a flight over the park via the Monorail as we arrived and got a quick peek at how the project is coming along. Join us for this look at the construction update from today.

Since our last check-in, there has been some significant progress. This concrete wall is finally out of its support structure and standing on its own.

Some large dirt piles have taken over the space between the concrete wall and the large trench.

It looks like there may be some minor new trenching into the debris pile as dirt is moved around the site.

This deep trench has already had supports installed along the trench walls and now rebar is being installed along with other support structures in the trench.
