We’re a couple of weeks into 2022 now, but it still feels like the holidays in Disney World!

Holiday decorations are still up in the parks, and you can find plenty of ornaments, stockings, and Christmas PJs in the gift shops. Although it seems like the parks are clinging to holiday cheer for dear life, there’s one spot that has officially moved on from the festive season — and we’re actually VERY glad that it did!

We could write love songs to the Carrot Cake Cookie from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We first spotted it back at Writer’s Stop (RIP), but more recently its home has been the Trolley Car Café! This treat went away to make room for the Holiday Red Velvet Whoopie Pie, which was actually a bit disappointing this year. So we’re extra excited to be reunited with our beloved Carrot Cake Cookie! 

This cookie has sweet cream cheese frosting between two carrot cake-inspired cookies. As you can see from the pictures, this dessert is pretty large — definitely big enough to share.

On a less exciting note, the Carrot Cake Cookie was impacted by the recent price increases in Disney World. In fact, this treat’s price jumped up a full dollar, from $3.99 to $4.99. This is just one of hundreds of price increases at restaurants around Disney World, so make sure to check those out before your next visit.

Another tasty treat also returned to the Trolley Car Café in Hollywood Studios: the Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake! This treat has gone through a few different transformations over the years, and it used to be called the Butterfinger Cupcake. It’s a chocolate cupcake topped with peanut butter buttercream frosting and covered with a peanut butter candy shell. It’s also crowned with two chocolate Mickey ears.

The Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake is sometimes offered at Rosie’s All-American Café, but today we saw it at the Trolley Car Café. If you love the classic peanut butter–chocolate combo, we think you’ll want to give this treat a try. It costs $5.29.

The Carrot Cake Cookie has been one of our favorites for a long time, and we’re always excited to see it again at the beginning of the new year.
