Although only 25 Disney Store locations remain in North America, the brick-and-mortar retail locations continue to update face covering policies. Previously, all guests 2 and over entering a Disney Store were required to wear face coverings. The updated policy states that guests need not wear masks unless required by local regulations.

Disney is still encouraging guests to wear face coverings in Disney Stores.

The change applies only to Disney Stores, not to retail locations in parks and resorts.

As Disney phases out its retail operations, it has partnered with Target to open Disney Stores inside Target locations in the United States.
