REVIEW: Is This New Disney Cookie Scary or Kinda Cute? You Tell Us!

Haunted Mansion Holiday is a classic seasonal overlay at Disneyland that features the characters of Nightmare Before Christmas taking over the Haunted Mansion.

Haunted Mansion Holiday is here!!!

If riding the beloved attraction with this overlay wasn’t enough, we tried a new treat based on the classic overlay!

Over at French Market in New Orleans Square, you can find the Haunted Mansion Holiday Wreath Cookie, which features a Sugar Cookie, Strawberry, White Chocolate, and a Mint Frosted Cereal Wreath. This one is available for $7.49! At first glance, the cookie is pretty spooky…but also kind of cute? What do you think?

The Wreath Cookie!

As far as taste goes, the cookie is super sweet! The cereal wreath had a nice minty flavor with some sweetness, while the strawberry center was WAY too sweet for us and overshadowed the flavor of the white chocolate. The sugar cookie was your standard Disney sugar cookie and wasn’t particularly dazzling.

Spooky!

One fun detail was that the cookie was based on the wreath in the center of this year’s Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House, a tradition that is celebrating its 20 year anniversary! Overall, this snack had a fun look and was interesting to eat, but the sweetness of the strawberry stopped this cookie from being something we’d want to eat again.
