Big Changes Announced for 2021 Disney Wonder Cruise Ship Itineraries

The Disney Cruise Line has experienced some changes as they navigate new restrictions and policies for health and safety of passengers.

Several cruises have been modified or even canceled due to restrictions both in the U.S. and in foreign ports of call. Now, we have more updates for Disney Cruises that are setting sail later this year, including the reopening of some cruises and changes to existing itineraries.

All of these changes affect the Disney Wonder, a ship that normally sails out of San Diego, CA and Galveston, TX. Previously, the ship had plans for 3- and 4- night cruises to Mexico, along with a long cruise through the Panama Canal. Now the ship has added several options for 6-night trips to the Western Caribbean.

The Disney Wonder is set to resume sailings from Galveston, TX, starting November 19th, 2021. Guests on these cruises will sail through the Western Caribbean, stopping in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico.

The Disney Wonder‘s 6-night cruises on November 23rd, December 7th, and December 31st of this year are now going to visit Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico, instead of Key West, FL, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

The Disney Wonder‘s 6-night cruises on December 21st of this year are going to stop in Progreso, Mexico, instead of George Town, Grand Cayman.

And the 6-night cruise on January 14th of next year is going to Cozumel, Mexico, and George Town, Grand Cayman, rather than Key West, FL, and Castaway Cay.
