PHOTOS: First Look at Trail’s End Restaurant Breakfast in Disney World!

Trail’s End Restaurant is officially open again at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Trail’s End Restaurant

Many restaurants at the Disney World resorts have reopened recently, including ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Citricos (with a new Mary Poppins Returns theme) at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. We stopped by Trail’s End Restaurant this morning for breakfast, and here’s what it looks like now!

Atmosphere

Located at Fort Wilderness, Trail’s End is a pioneer-themed spot that feels like a real frontier meeting hall!

The theming is spot-on!

With wagon wheels, old American flags, and more memorabilia, you’ll be transported to the pioneer days!

So much great decor!

We stopped by the check-in desk and were led to our seats!

We sat down and saw there was a QR code for the menu!

Remember: plan plenty of travel time to get here. We drove to Fort Wilderness, and you have to park at the front entrance, then wait to take a bus to the Settlement Trading Post, and then walk down to Pioneer Hall.

Eats

After we sat down, we scanned a QR code and took a look at the menu!

You might already know that Trail’s End has a new family-style menu, which they announced last month. Just like the old buffet, you’ll pay a flat fee to dine here, costing $19.99 per adult and $11.99 per child. This updated menu includes a Pastry Basket, Berry-Granola-Yogurt Parfait, and a Breakfast Skillet for the table! The Breakfast Skillet has Smoked Brisket and Eggs, Mickey Waffles, Bacon and Sausage, and Cheesy Potato Casserole. There were a lot more options when Trail’s End breakfast was a full buffet, like the Pulled Pork Benedict and Breakfast Pizza, just to name a couple of missing items.

Today, we got the Pioneer Mimosa with Passion Orange Guava Juice and Paul Cheneau Lady of Spain Cuvée (alcoholic drinks do cost extra, so this put us back $13)…
