If You Had Tickets For These 3 Disneyland Events, Be Sure to Check For Your Refund

Can you believe it’s been almost a year since we’ve been to Disneyland?

Luckily, guests have been able to get a taste of Disney magic in California with Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street open for shopping and dining. While Anaheim officials are pushing for a quicker opening of Disneyland and other large theme parks, Disneyland is doing all they can to keep people involved. Disney California Adventure is even holding an event that will let you into several lands in the park!

Although there are some new experiences coming up, some other ticketed events have been cancelled. One of those was the Sip and Savor Passes at the 2020 Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure. Originally, the Disneyland website said that guests would receive an automatic refund within 30 days without need for any additional action.

Now, the website states that guests should either go online or call Disney to request a refund for the Sip and Savor Passes. Guests may request a refund of $7 for each qualifying entitlement tab that are unused and still attached to the pass itself. You will receive instructions on how to send in your pass via mail, and it may take up to 30 days to process.

Guests will be given a refund as an online Disney Gift Card via email, and a shipping reimbursement of $3 will be included in the gift card. For events like the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, guests with tickets were eligible to have them refunded within 30 days without further action.

The same goes for the Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite which was supposed to take place in April of last year.

The Disneyland After Dark events say that a current ticket would be automatically eligible for a rescheduled event, however none of these events have been rescheduled yet.

Be sure that if you had tickets for these events that you either rescheduled or received a refund! There are numbers to call if you need any assistance directly from Disney. We still don’t have a clear picture of when Disneyland could actually reopen, but until then we’ll keep you updated on the latest news from the Disney Parks!
