A Brand New Disney Character Already Has Their Own Snack in Disney World

We’re getting excited for the March 5th release of Raya and the Last Dragon!

Animal Kingdom

It seems like the Disney parks are getting in the Raya spirit, too! We’ve seen an ENORMOUS sand sculpture (we’re talking 40 tons of sand, people) and some new merchandise. But now, Disney’s celebrating the release with what we do best here at DFB: food.

We found the new Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse at Isle of Java at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This little guy is a five-spice mousse atop a chocolate cake, with a chocolate velvet shell, and crispy chocolate pearls. That’s a LOT of chocolate! There’s also an animated Tuk Tuk face on the front.

When we got tasting, we found out this treat is true to its description. It’s got a nice, chocolate-y spice to it. Think more cocoa and less heat. The cake itself is your everyday, tasty chocolate cake. It looks like it would have a fudge texture, but it actually doesn’t!

Okay, let’s talk mousse. There’s a LOT of it! It’s also a lot heavier than we expected. If you’re not a mousse fan, you may want to stay away from this one. That heavy taste might also be a bit much for kids. Not to mention, it could get kinda messy to eat!

Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse (look at all that mousse!)

But if you love mousse and can’t get enough of a spicey chocolate taste, this treat may be for you! Isle of Java is open until 2PM today, so if you want to grab this afterwards, head over to Creature Comforts instead. We spotted it for $5.99 there, too!

We’ll keep trying all of Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon treats as the release gets closer! As always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.
