Welcome back to another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
While in the park yesterday, we noticed more Rivers of America progress, found some exciting new merchandise, and even spotted a new park map! Let’s dive right in.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Rivers of America
Rivers of America is almost completely refilled.
Construction in the area began at the end of last year when the water was drained. Now, the water level has almost returned to normal.
We’ll keep you posted on any further changes made to the area!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
While in the Emporium, we spotted some finds for princess fans: a new set of pins!
We’d previously spotted a few of these at Disney Pin Traders in Disney Springs, but we’re happy to see them all in one place! The set includes Cinderella…
…Belle, and more. These pins are each $12.99.
We also found the new princess pin mystery boxes in the Emporium!
These boxes contain pins with all your favorites: Ariel, Rapunzel, Pocahontas, Mulan, Snow White, Belle, Moana, Jasmine, Tiana, Cinderella, Merida, AND Rapunzel. That’s a lot of royalty in one box!
The mystery pin boxes are $15.99 each. We’ll keep you posted here at DFB if we spot any of these new pins anywhere else in the parks!
Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar
In the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop (or Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, as it’s formally called), we spotted some spooky new-to-us jewelry!
There are new Magic + Mischief earrings featuring the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington.
We also found Magic + Mischief earrings with ghosts from The Haunted Mansion!
These earrings are $9.99 each and come on a ghostly purple bag backing. We love how frightfully fun they are!
While at Star Traders in Tomorrowland, we came across the Stitch Crashes Disney Beauty and the Beast collection! There was a pretty hefty stock of the plushes…
We’ve previously seen this collection at World of Disney, and we’ll let you know if we see it anywhere else!
Magic Kingdom Additional Updates
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Closed
On January 24th, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom closed. We were also told that this experience would likely be closing for good. Previously, we had been told that this was a temporary closure.
We’ll let you know if we receive news of any experiences that may replace it. The Main Street Fire Station that housed this experience is also closed for the time being.
New Park Map
We found a new park map in Magic Kingdom this week!
The new map includes some restaurant additions and the removal of The Laughing Floor. You can read more details here.
That wraps up our Magic Kingdom updates for the day! We’ll keep you posted here at DFB with any and all park news, so stay tuned.
