REVIEW: It’s Cookie Stroll Time at This Year’s Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!

One of the sweetest parts of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is its annual Cookie Stroll! And now that the festival has returned for 2020, we’re ready to put on our stretchy pants and tackle all that the festival has to offer!

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Sign

Make sure to save room for dessert, because the Cookie Stroll is one of our favorite aspects of the festival!

Here’s how it works: your Festival Passport contains valuable information regarding the Cookie Stroll, including the booths you need to head to if you want to participate! Simply head to those booths and gobble down their tasty cookies! The best part is that these cookies are typically at a lower price-point, so you can participate in the full Stroll without breaking the bank!

Holiday Cookie Stroll in Festival Passport

Despite this year being a “taste” of the Festival of the Holidays, the Cookie Stroll is just as big as it was last year! This year, there are SIX participating booths, giving us six delicious desserts to munch on! After you purchase the first 5 cookies at the corresponding booths, the 6th cookie is complimentary! Whether you want to complete the challenge and try all six, or you’re just looking for the best of the best, here are our thoughts on this year’s Cookie Stroll!

Chocolate Crinkle Cookie – American Holiday Table

The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie is returning this year, but at a different food booth! Last year it was located at the Feast of Three Kings booth, but now you’ll need to head over to American Holiday Table to track it down! We loved this cookie last year, but how did it hold up for this year?

Chocolate Crinkle Cookie

It was JUST as amazing as we remember! The cookie is super chocolate-y and the perfect amount of sweet. For $2.50, this cookie is totally worth it!

Linzer Cookie – Bavaria Holiday Kitchen

Another returning favorite of ours is the Linzer Cookie. Once again located at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, this cookie is as tasty as it is beautiful!

Linzer Cookie

To us, it tasted like a fancy Poptart. But we aren’t mad about it at ALL! This is a super delicious and classic holiday treat for $2.50.

Gingerbread Cookie – Festival Favorites

What’s the holiday season without gingerbread cookies?! You can always count on Disney delivering some scrumptious gingerbread treats all across the parks and resorts, and at Festival of the Holidays, you can head over to Festival Favorites to have your fill!

Gingerbread Cookie

This was a traditional gingerbread cookie. Nothing too special about it except that it’s super cute with the red and green decorations! Gingerbread is known for being a holiday flavor, so course the festival had to add it to the Cookie Stroll for $2.50.

Minnie Peppermint Cookie – Holiday Sweets and Treats

The Minnie Peppermint Cookie is the singular NEW addition to the Cookie Stroll this year, replacing the “Completer Cookie” you received at the end of last year’s Cookie Stroll. This new sweet treat is located at Holiday Sweets and Treats.

Minnie Peppermint Cookie

The cookie was pre-packaged and is designed to look like peppermint candies and Minnie Mouse, of course! This cookie is complimentary with the purchase of the other 5 cookies or $3 on its own.

Black and White Cookie – L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen

This next cookie is the resident plant-based item in this year’s Cookie Stroll! Black and White Cookies are typically year-round snacks, so fans will be delighted to know you can find them at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen this time of year!

Black and White Cookie

This is one of our least favorite cookies on the Stroll. For those who have had the real thing in New York City, you’ll be disappointed because it is way too soft for a traditional NYC Black and White Cookie. That being said, if you want to check off all the cookies on the list, you can grab this for $2.50.

Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie – Yukon Holiday Kitchen

Another returning cookie this year is the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie over at Yukon Holiday Kitchen. This was our top-ranked sweet from last year’s Cookie Stroll thanks to its unique design and delicious taste.

Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie

If you love peppermint, this is the cookie for you! This crispy cookie is covered in holiday sprinkles around the edges and has a minty candy flavor. We ADORE this cookie for $2.50.
