Did You Notice Disney World is More Strictly LIMITING Purchases of Limited Edition Merchandise?

Limited edition merchandise is typically in very high demand in Disney parks.

Jungle Cruise Minnie ears

The demand is SO high, in fact, that at first after reopening, Disney World halted in-person limited-edition releases to help promote social distancing. Limited edition releases have since returned somewhat, but due to Disney’s generous 10 of each item per person policy, many guests aren’t able to get ahold of these releases. Seems like FINALLY, that may have changed a bit!

Today, we were super surprised to spot the release of the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Jungle Cruise in Disney World, but there was an even more surprising change we noticed with the release.

Jungle Cruise Collection

The collection was limited to just three of each item per person! Wow! In the past, the limit has been much higher — a whopping ten items per person.

Haunted Mansion Minnie Loungefly

We first noticed the three-item cap with the Passholder release of the recent Haunted Mansion line from the same series, and we were VERY curious to see if that would stick around. It seems like it has! This limit seems more reasonable than the massive ten items per person and may mean the collections sell out a little bit slower when they release in person.

Jungle Cruise MagicBand

A Cast Member we spoke with in Guest Relations told us that this change will be in place for releases for the “foreseeable future.” We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on it during future releases. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!
