2020 HALLOWEEN Guide
Food and Drinks
Let’s be real…we’re just here for the food and drinks! Okay okay, we’re here for ALL the Disney things, but Halloween food and drinks in Disney World are some of the most creative and delicious things around!
If you’re headed to the parks and you want to make sure you don’t want to miss any of the amazing seasonal snacks, check out all of the offerings you’ll be able to try!
The Pumpkin-spiced Mickey Waffle Sundae is available at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. The Pumpkin-spiced Mickey waffles are topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, then drizzled with caramel and doused with seasonal sprinkles.
Looking for a fun float? The Headless Horseman Rides Again is available at Sunshine Tree Terrace. This float features Strawberry Dole Whip with Fanta Strawberry.
If you’re more of a milk shake fan, you can head over to Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies for the Pumpkin Spice Milk Shake! This Pumpkin Spice Milk Shake comes topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, sprinkles, and a Mickey-shaped marshmallow straw.
Also at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, you can find a Pumpkin Spice Soft-serve Sundae topped with whipped cream and sprinkles and drizzled with caramel. YUM.
The Poor Unfortunate Souls is new and improved. This float is now made with cream cheese soft-serve, black raspberry syrup, and Coke and is available at Storybook Treats. And yes, you read that right — cream cheese soft-serve.
Looking for a savory treat? Hades Nachos features black bean nacho chips with buffalo chicken, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, and jalapeño and cheese. You can find it at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe.
The Churros have gotten in on the Halloween fun with some orange and black sugar! And you can even get them in a Mickey Pumpkin or Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket at select Popcorn and Snack Carts.
Pecos Bill is serving up some serious Halloween fun! You can also find the Cinnamon Donut Holes here. But these are no ordinary donuts. They are Ricotta-dropped Mini Doughnuts rolled in Cinnamon Sugar.
You can purchase them alone or in a Hitchhiking Ghost Novelty Container.
Sometimes there’s nothing better than a good Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll. For Halloween, this treat has received a spooky makeover as it is drizzled with orange and white icing! You can find it at the Main Street Bakery.
Ready to do the Monster Mash? This Mickey Monster Mash Burger features Meunster cheese, potato barrels, bacon, and sriracha aïoli. You can find it over at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.
While this isn’t food, you can eat food IN IT. You can find Phineas, another one of the Hitchhiking Ghosts in this Premium Popcorn Bucket.
You can also get another Hitchhiking Ghost in a Novelty Sipper!
You can also grab a Madame Leota sipper in Magic Kingdom! She’s come to us from regions beyond.
We’ve also spotted some spooktacular Halloween Popcorn buckets around Disney World. This Halloween Popcorn Bucket is one, in particular, we spotted in Magic Kingdom and in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and EPCOT as well.
If you love The Nightmare Before Christmas, you’ll LOVE these Oogie Boogie Light-Up Dice Novelty Cubes! We’ve found them at several places throughout Magic Kingdom.
We were POPPING for joy when we spotted the Mickey Pumpkin Premium Popcorn Bucket back in the park.
But, Oogie Boogie is not to be left behind! We spotted the Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket in Magic Kingdom as well and we just had to roll the dice and get one for ourselves! You can also find the Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket in EPCOT at the Canada Popcorn Cart and Fife & Drum Tavern.
What’s this? We can’t believe our eyes! It’s the Jack Skellington Souvenir Sipper!
Now, back to edible goodies! Over at select popcorn carts in Magic Kingdom we’ve also found some Halloween Cotton Candy featuring Grape and Tangerine flavors!
Over at EPCOT, we’ll be getting lots of specialty snacks on Halloween only!
There will be a Halloween Cupcake (Available on Halloween Day Only at Sunshine Seasons) with your choice of a vanilla or chocolate cupcake with buttercream and a Mickey Pumpkin garnish.
On Halloween day, you’ll also find:
- Nemo & Squirt’s Noggin Concoction which is a Chocolate brownie stuffed with a chocolate chip cookie topped with white chocolate-covered pretzels and a Mickey Pumpkin Garnish;
- Halloween Sugar Cookie which is a Sugar cookie topped with Halloween Sprinkles; and
- Liquid Nitro Cake Pop which is a liquid nitro chocolate cake pop with Halloween sprinkles
But, aside from those Halloween day only treats, there are some other spooky snacks you’ll find around EPCOT right now! First, EPCOT is where you can find the Green Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket.
We’ve also had some pumpkin-spiced things that aren’t necessarily Halloween themed exactly, but are definitely part of the fall fun — like the Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Mac-Tini at L’Artisan des Glaces in EPCOT’s France pavilion. This is a Martini featuring one scoop of Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream, a Pumpkin Spice Macaron, and a shot of Spiced Rum, topped with a Caramel Drizzle!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
We went on a WILD adventure with these Halloween treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
First, there’s the Scar Cupcake is a red velvet cupcake filled with toasted marshmallow and topped with chocolate marshmallow frosting, chocolate krispies, white chocolate flames with green coloring, and a SCAR made of edible icing!
Over at Isle of Java and Flame Tree Barbecue, you can find a non-alcoholic Poison Apple Punch which features a combination of Sprite and Monin Apple Syrup. Oh, and you can also get ALL the Poison Apple Glow Cubes too!
Got to get some popcorn? Get it with a Purple Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket for an extra spooky snack experience!
If you want to make your drinking experience a little more spooky — check out this Tire Pumpkin Novelty Straw! We’ve spotted this in Animal Kingdom and EPCOT as well!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Over at Hollywood Studios, we spotted the Poison Candied Apple which is actually an apple and caramel mousse covered in a red glaze with a crunchy candy base. You can get this one at The Trolley Car Cafe.
After all that apple, we need some pumpkin in our lives! You can try the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cannoli which is Pumpkin Cheesecake mixed with Hazelnut Praline Crunch in a Cannoli Shell over at PizzeRizzo.
Orange you glad it’s Halloween? You can grab an ORANGE version of the Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket at Anaheim Produce and select popcorn carts in the park!
Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, we found another spooky drink — the Poisoned Apple Drink — which is made of Svedka Vodka, Midori Melon Liqueur, Blue Curacao, and Pineapple Juice.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Just recently, we spotted some non-alcoholic Halloween drinks available on mobile order at Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
At Grand Floridian Cafe, we also spotted some Poison Apple glow cubes, the Pumpkin Tire straw, and the Oogie Boogie Glow Dice.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
We also shared that some Halloween drinks were coming to The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and we just got the chance to try them earlier this week.
Some special treats were also set to come to Disney Springs today, and we stopped by today to sample some of them!
We also got to try the Pumpkin Pie Gelato Shake at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs.
Looking for a cheat-cheat? Check out our Halloween Snack Checklist. Our printable checklist breaks down the seasonal treats at each of the four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With this checklist in hand, you’ll be able to keep everything organized and make sure that you don’t miss any of your favorites.
We’re still munching our way through Disney World so be sure to check back with us often to see what new snacks we’ve been able to try!
If you’re looking for some decoration inspiration (we WISH our homes could look as cute as Disney World at Halloween) then you’ll LOVE all of the fall and Halloween decor that’s made it’s way to Disney World.
We spotted some of it early on in Magic Kingdom, and some of it even started popping up earlier this week in pieces — but as of yesterday, the iconic Mickey Jack-O’-Lanterns are UP in Magic Kingdom (truly, we got a bit teary-eyed seeing it all).
Over at Disney Springs, we got a glimpse of the fall decorations today, but a fan-favorite piece was missing!
We’ve also spotted some smaller fall decorations over in hotels like Fort Wilderness.
We’re always on the lookout for more Halloween decorations, so come back for all the latest updates!
Let’s rip this one off like a bandaid — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has in fact been canceled for this year.
Over on the entertainment front, we may or may not have cried when we heard the Boo-To-You soundtrack play as some of our favorite characters strolled down Main Street, U.S.A. in their Halloween costumes in the new Halloween cavalcades.
There is a Nightmare Before Christmas cavalcade, one featuring Mickey and friends, and another with some of your favorite Disney Villains.
Pooh and his friends also made their way down Main Street in the trolley looking spookier and cuter than ever! And, we spotted characters on the train station and Chip ‘n’ Dale in costume in Frontierland!
Soon, we’ll also be able to see the Dapper Dans, as their alter egos the Cadaver Dans, performing in Disney World.
Some of the Cast Members are even in on the entertainment in Magic Kingdom.
Themed PhotoPass photos are also being offered during this spooky time, so be on the lookout for that!
If you want to join your Disney friends with costumes of your own, you’ll be able to dress up in the park this year! For the first time, guests of all ages will be able to wear Halloween costumes during Magic Kingdom’s regular operating hours.
Over on the merchandise front, it would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE for us to share ALL of the Halloween merchandise we’ve spotted in Disney World and online in one spot! But, here are a few of them:
Yesterday we found some spooktacular pins featuring Max and Roxanne from A Goofy Movie; Huey, Dewey, and Louie; the CUTEST Pooh and Piglet we’ve like ever seen (!!), and more! Is that Orange Bird as a pumpkin? Oh man — our wallets are in serious danger.
If you’re more of a Pandora charms person, then you’ll LOVE the new Mickey Pumpkin Halloween Charm.
WOW. That was a LOT of Halloween. And it’s only SEPTEMBER! The Halloween fun is truly just getting started, so be sure to come back to DFB for ALL the Halloween updates!
