Here’s What Time Transportation to the Parks Should Become Available From Your Disney World Hotel

As of today, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are now reopened to guests!

Magic Kingdom

If you’re staying in a Disney World Resort hotel, you will still have access to Disney transportation to take you to the parks. But how early can you rope droppers head out? Here’s what we know!

Both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom opened their gates at 9AM today! And, our team headed out bright and early to experience the reopened parks — well, as early as we were able to! According to a Cast Member we spoke with, Disney transportation between hotels and parks started operating at 8:30AM, a half-hour before the scheduled park opening.

Monorail

Walkways to the Transportation and Ticket Center also remained closed until 8:30AM — here’s the barrier we spotted at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort prior to the scheduled opening!

For guests driving to the parks themselves, cars were held outside the parking lot entrance until 7:40AM, at which point guests were able to begin parking.

This is what we experienced today, but remember these times are subject to change as the reopening progresses and could vary based on park hours! Stay tuned for more coverage from the official reopening day at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom!
