HOMEMADE MEALS AND DIY PROJECTS!

HOMEMADE MEALS AND DIY PROJECTS!

Last week, we created some super fun at home science experiments. From a Lava Lamp to a Pan Flute, but we can’t stop the home projects just yet! So we thought we would continue on with the show and create some amazing foods at home, along with a project. One of those things being, making the perfect cupcakes. Over the years we have created several videos on making treats at home, but here are some of our recent dishes!

1. SAUCY ENCHILADA CHICKEN BREAST

The Enchilada Chicken Breast turned out to be pretty simple to make, it just takes some passitience and preparation time! It is basically just a few ingredients! We used the recipe over at https://marleyspoon.com/menu/50902-saucy-enchilada-chicken-breast-with-melted-cheddar-garlicky-rice-pilaf. To add onto this tasty dinner we added some white rice and a healthy salad to finish our meal off! All in all we really enjoyed these Enchiladas, and so did Jackson as he tested it with us!

2. CUPCAKES WITH BUTTERCREAM ICING

Second on the list, we made perfect Cupcakes with buttercream icing. We kind of went all out on our perfect cupcakes, we took action into our own hands and made them even more perfect! We used the yellow birthday cupcake recipe over at https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/yellow-birthday-cupcakes/. As we were filling in the baking liners we added our little cupcake surprise, which is Reece’s Minis! Before we could put them into our cupcakes we had to make sure they weren’t poisonous by trying at least one, luckley they were completely fine! Finally, we finished off our perfect cupcakes with a buttercream icing on top, which you can find the recipe over at https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/favorite-chocolate-buttercream/. In the end, the cupcakes were perfect and we can finally say that we made the perfect cupcake!

3. CUSTOM BIRD FEEDER

Coming in at number 3 on the list is our custom at home Bird Feeder! To start off this project, we screwed an angle bracket to our tree in the backyard so we could have something to hold our Bird Feeder. To begin this project, we started off with a jug and cut a square into the side big enough for the birds to get in but small enough to where no other animal could get inside. We went on to fill the bottom of the jug with a gourmet bird seed. Our final step is to tie the milk jug to our angle bracket so that the bird feeder can hang and attract the birds! Now we wait and attract all of our new guests!

4. BARBECUE CHICKEN & PIMENTO CHEESE GRITS

The Barbecue Chicken & Pimento Cheese Grits turned out to be a very tasty dinner quezine. We have been cooking our at home dinners using https://marleyspoon.com/ recipes, you guys have been asking us if it’s worth the subscription and we can vouch that the recipes have been turning out very well! Here is the recipe below:

5. PICKLES

To end off this creative dream we are going to be making pickles at home! To start off this project you are going to need a jar, a funnel, salt, fresh dill, cucumbers, water, and vinegar. So first, you are going to fill your jar with sliced cucumbers and we cut our cucumbers approximately a ¼ inch. When you’re at about half way, you need to add 2 large sprigs of fresh dill in with your cucumbers. Next we are going to boil 1 cup of water, 3 quarters of a cup of vinegar, and 1 tbsp. of salt. Now once all of the salt has dissolved into the liquid take it off the burner and let it cool. Finally, take your funnel and pour the liquid into the jar using your funnel. Once you’ve done that step, give your not yet to be pickles a good shake, put them into the refrigerator and let them sit overnight! Wala, you have homemade pickles!

We thought it would be great to share some of the things we have been doing in our home life. Some of those things being, cooking amazing dinners for our family and even doing side projects around the house! We are delighted to share what we do around the house, and we really hoped you enjoyed it!
