BREAKING NEWS! Disney World Proposes Reopening Date of July 11th

Following the reopening of Universal Orlando’s CityWalk and Disney Springs, the Universal Orlando Theme Parks are set to be the first major Orlando-area theme parks to reopen since the closures in March.

Florida’s Governor approved Universal’s request after the plan was cleared by Orange County Mayor, Jerry Demings, and the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. Walt Disney World followed the same protocol today and presented their reopening plan and reopening date to the Orange County Task Force for initial approval.

Walt Disney World Resort has proposed a reopening date for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th, and a reopening date for Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 13th. The parks will be open to guests on these dates.
