Disneyland is building a new cast member parking lot on the site of an RV park on the other side of the 5 Freeway from the park. The site was formerly the ‘Anaheim RV Village’ at Harbor Boulevard and Ball Road. Disney plans to build 1,400 parking spaces for employees on the 11 acre plot. The new parking lot would replace part of an employee lot off of Katella Avenue, which will be converted into visitor parking next to the Toy Story lot. Currently Disneyland Resort has over 33,000 parking spaces in 23 parking lots. Disney acquired the property in September 2013.
