Boma – The Flavors of Africa is located on the ground floor of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Of all the breakfast eateries in Disney World this place is the most exotic. If you looking for a refreshing change from the standard mid-American breakfast fare that predominates on property, Boma is the place. Yes, you can get eggs and bacon, but you can do that anywhere. Get adventuresome, you’re on vacation!

I really enjoyed this buffet, but I must admit it’s not for everyone. My favorite dishes are the Roasted Ham shank, the French Toast Bread Pudding, and their Goat Cheese and Spinach Scrambled Eggs (yum). The White Cornmeal (Pap) tasted just like grits, the Chakalaka was very savory, but I found the African Spiced Corned Beef Hash had too much clove for my taste.
All-in-all an interesting culinary experience that you cant get anywhere outside of Africa. I say go… go and be adventurous!
